My Training

My primary training is in Humanistic Person-Centred Counselling. I operate through a trauma informed lens and I often incorporate modalities such as Acceptance-and-Commitment Therapy and Attachment Theory, depending on my clients needs and desired outcomes from therapy.

Inspired by Buddhist teachers Matthieu Ricard and Thích Nhất Hạnh, I take a compassionate and strengths-based approach to distress and trauma.

In my therapeutic practice I support people towards healing and positive change by cultivating a compassionate and collaborative relationship; a place where painful thoughts and feelings can be expressed freely and met by both of us with tenderness, honesty, and wisdom.
